The selection of decisions from European Court of Justice

The goal in publishing EU Court practice is to acquaint judges with it which gradually contributes to fullfilment of Copenhagen criteria in part of adoption, acceptance and implementation of the Acquis as a condition for Croatias entrance to the EU

The project was realised in cooperation with the prestigious Jean Monnet department on Zagreb Faculty of Law which has contributed with its knowledge and expertise in selection of so called landmark decisions and creating of European Court of Justice decisions data base

Although since the moment it became the candidate for full membership in the EU Croatia has adjusted many regulations, further harmonisation of the national legislation is needed in order to be fully alligned with the EU legislation.

For that reason, except decisions overview in Croatian language the base contains a part showing reference with Croatian law which clearly describes the influence of the specific EU directives on existing Croatian legislation all in order to alleviate numerous changes taking place upon entering the EU as same as the regulations to be brought.
