Through linking to more efficient work of judiciary system and decreased number of unsolved subject matters
ZAGREB (Hina) Yesterday, the Ministry of Justice, Administration and Local Self - Government agreed a cooperation with the association Judge's web regarding implementation of new information technologies to five courts placed in the regions caught by the war. As explained by the president of the association Judge's web, Drazen Komarica, the project has foreseen information linking of the courts in Vukovar. Vinkovci, Beli Manastir, Sisak and Glina and a creation of a data base to enable an easy review of court practices. This would enable faster resolving of court subject matters at a higher quality level. The stated courts were elected due to specific court subject matters bound to return of refugees and expatriates. Judge's web Project that is planned to last for 18 months is supported by the US Congress and the USAID that has financed the purchase of the information equipment and training forjudges in the amount of USD 250.000. Bo2idar Rumenjak has estimated that the project should help the more efficient work of judiciary system and to decrease a number of unsolved subject matters. According to his words it represents an implementation of new information equipment and technology into the every day work and activities of each judge. If the project achieves a more efficient operation of the stated courts, the project will apply to the rest of Croatian courts.
