The Croatian judiciary in the perception of the Faculty of Law in Zagreb

najbolji esej4th March 2009. - In the hall of the University of Zagreb, was held ceremony and awards for the best essay in the joint project of Judges Web and the Faculty of Law - "The Croatian judiciary in the perception of students of the Faculty of Law," sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway. Ceremony was held with presence and supporting commemorative speeches from the Dean of Law Faculty Professor.PhD. Kregar Josip, director of the Judicial Academy Mrs.Ivana Goranić and Mr Jens Erik Grondahl, First Secretary of the Royal Norwegian Embassy.





Students had a choice between one of six designated topics:

  •   RATIONALIZATION OF CROATIAN COURTS
  •   ATTORNEY ADVERTISING
  •   GENDER EQUALITY
  •   CONTEMPORARY ISSUES OF JUDICIAL INDEPENDENCE
  •   ISSUES AFFECTING THE COURTS SLOWNESS
  •   PARADOX OF JUDICIAL PROCEEDINGS AND DISTRUST IN THE CROATIAN JUDICIARY
Among 21 received essays, top three were:
 
1. AWARD: Ksenija Grejić - The paradox of judicial proceedings and distrust in the Croatian judiciary (in Croatian)
2. AWARD: Maja Komljenović - Attorney advertising (in Croatian)
3. AWARD: Josipa Kovačević - The paradox of judicial proceedings and distrust in the Croatian judiciary (in Croatian)
