New projects will increase the transparency of the police force
ZAGREB-Tuesday's signing of the Cooperation agreement between Ministry of Interior and non¬governmental association Judges Web took place in the premises of MOI in Zagreb. By signing cooperation agreement, two projects "Digitization of instructions and guidelines for police" and "Online police stations" will be realized and the main goal of the projects is creating more efficient structures which will improve relationships between the MOI and the non-governmental sector in Croatia.
The agreement has been signed by Minister Tomislav Karamarko and president of the Association Drazen Komarica in the presence of her Excellency Nienke Trosster, the ambassador of Netherland to the Croatia. According to Mr Drazen Komarica, the Association has assured 470.000 Euros for the project thanks to the help of the Government of the Kingdom of Netherland. Within this project, which will be realized in the next year, on the new internet portal will be published information available for free to all citizens; with the project "Online police stations" citizens will be able to get all information about police stations. The project "Digitization of instructions and guidelines for police" will help to the all employees of MOI to quickly access information acquired for their everyday work. Minister Karamarko said how this project is practical, useful and applicable.
